So for this session, I was a little nervous as I had never shot a group of people before. I already knew that it was going to be something very different from couples. There are less opportunities to focus on small things and rely on bokeh to make pictures interesting and pleasing to look at. After playing around and thinking about the situation, I realized that they key to shooting groups of people in an environment such as this is to position each person perfectly. I found that by paying attention to heights, clothes, and the main subject of attention, I was able to create balanced and somewhat symmetrical pictures that were very aesthetically pleasing. Overall, I was very proud of this shoot and how all the pictures turned out. |
